Handtmann X Brook – a Bakery Collab!

We’ve been working closely alongside German manufacturer Handtmann for the past year or so, and we’re pleased to have become their approved Bakery partner for the UK, offering our customers filling and portioning solutions for bespoke requirements where often alternative suppliers haven’t a suitable solution.

 

Handtmann have been providing the industry with cutting edge complete in-line equipment for over 35 years, their success is based on their precision design solutions, a highly trained and motivated team and the Handtmann philosophy based around quality and solutions. 

 

In recent months we’ve worked with Handtmann to supply different customers all of which were solution and relationship led.

We’ve had a customer come to us looking to produce frozen cookie, having looked far and wide for a solution in the usual avenues of machinery with no success, we were pretty sure the Handtmann product range would have the answer.  After a few hours in our test bakery trialling the solution, the mix went through the machine ‘an absolute treat’ according to the production team. 

 

Another customer was producing various different tray bakes and wanted to connect a Handtmann unit to an indexing line and then deposit through an 18inch wide letter-box nozzle, feeding then to an ultrasonic cutter, again the Handtmann met this need perfectly.

 

One of the biggest selling points is how versatile the machines are, enabling them to work almost universally across many product ranges. Machines can handle products such as sausage meat, pastry pucks, hot water pork pie pastry and all cake batters, all while having incredibly good portion control down to 1% tolerance.

 

Current projects include a large retail chain who are using the system we’ve provided for sandwich filling, completing transforming production at their central site.
