Meet Frances from The Stonehouse Bakery, winner of the Nero 400 oven

The Stonehouse Bakery is a home bakery owned & run by Frances in her family kitchen. Known for her delicious bread & celebration cakes all baked in a domestic oven, Frances was a great entry to the Nero 400 competition.

Frances runs The Stonehouse Bakery on her own, with the occasional help from her family and has been trading for 4 years. Frances, at The Stonehouse Bakery, buys the majority of her ingredients locally, which are often organic or fair trade.

As well as baking, Frances is also an English & History teacher, teaching 3 days a week, where she juggles teaching and the running of The Stonehouse Bakery. Producing bread in small, handmade batches, the Nero 400 oven will enable Frances to batch bake more of the delicious loaves in higher quantity.

The Stonehouse Bakery offers a wide range of types of bread which we are excited to see baked in the new Nero 400 oven. This includes, challah, faugasse, sweet fruit loaves, sourdough & seeded tin loaf. Alongside these enjoyable breads, The Stonehouse also offers hot cross buns, Swedish cinnamon buns, chocolate chip buns & Danish pastries.

The Stonehouse Bakery has a huge variety of baked goods to offer and the Nero 400 oven will enhance the amount of bakes that are available.
