We are super excited to be celebrating our 20th anniversary this year and planning a year of celebrations and offers.

You may have seen our new logo which will be used throughout 2014 and symbolises the 2 decades we’ve been supplying machinery into the Baking industry.

Since Steve Wells started the company back in 1994 we have seen growth and diversion across both used and new equipment supply. At the very beginning Brook Food offered a small range of second hand machinery and predomentaly focused on supplying those businesses on a very strict budget looking for affordable equipment solutions. But as the years went by our stock levels of used machinery increased and we also took on representing various new equipment brands from across Europe. The most notible partnership has been that formed with Italian manufactring giants Polin whom we began working alongside soon after the new millenium.

Since taking on the agency for the UK market we have seen huge potential across the range and supplied what must now be 1000s of machines in particular ovens, mixers and multidrop depositors across the UK and Ireland.

Our used equipment stocks have continued to grow and we are very proud to have the largest selection in Europe offering variety and choice to customer’s looking to either save against purchasing new machinery or looking for specialist machinery perhaps not available from other sources.

Since moving to our current premises late in 2013 we have increased our workshop capacity hugely to cope with increased demand for refurbished machinery and can meet with customers requirements for faster lead times.

The company is still family owned and the core values are followed throughout the company by the 50 strong staff.  It’s a exciting year being 20 years old and we are looking forward to meeting lots of our existing and new customers either at our showroom and test bakery in Somerset or at the Foodex exhibition taking place in Birmingham this March.
