Bakery Excellence - 2nd Date announced ! - 21/10/2015

Due to really high demand, we are really pleased to announce a second date for Bakery Excellence with Mark Bennett bakery course. The first course, which is hosted by us in our state of the art test bakery, runs on November 25th  and is now fully booked, with places on the newly announced Weds 2nd December course rapidly filling up. We have some really exciting news, here at Brook we’ve just found out that we are finalists in Business of the Year 2015 - 26-50 employees in the Somerset Business Awards. It’s the first year we’ve entered and having presented ourselves last week to the category judges we are down to the final three and will be finding out during the awards ceremony in October if we’ve been successful in becoming the overall winners. It doesn't seem like 5 mins ago that we announced the exciting news that we were joining as sponsors to Tiptree World Bread Awards with Brook Food . The closing date on Sunday 31 August saw entries up by a fabulous  20%, proving we are still a nation of dough lovers!   Over 70 judges will make their way to Westminster Cathedral in tomorrow  to smell, squeeze and taste hundreds of loaves, ranging from sourdough, to fruit bread to speciality loaves.
