Brook Food Sport Relief Bake Off 2014 - 20/03/2014

Yesterday we held our 2014 Sport Relief Bake Off. It was great fun, with 13 of our team all paying £5 to enter a cake with a sporting theme . Up for grabs were 3 prizes donated by the Directors 1st Prize £50, 2nd Prize £30 and then 3rd Prize was £20. We had lots of lovely entries as you can see from our picture, with ideas from golf courses, Pirelli wheels through to a red card and whistle. Our guest judge was the owner and her son of a local bakery business and she made her decisons on taste, appearnce and wow factor. Romanian Orphanage in Full Swing - 19/02/2014

You may remember that last year we were really pleased to be involved with the Bread of Life Organisation. We donated a large selection of equipment to enable the guys at the Orphanage to open their own community bakery. We were ready to burst with pride when we received an update and fab photo's from Eric Hornea the founder showing the Orphanage bakery in full swing.
